My daughter Linda is a soap maker. She sells her all natural herbal soaps out of her home in Meridian, Mississippi. At my request she formulated a soap I am proud to bring to my gardening friends and customers.
I asked Linda to create a soap that is gentle on hands yet scrubs the dark grime from the creases on my hands. You know... those rough areas on the sides of some fingers and the lines around the nails. She did that in her all natural Gardener's Soap.
This wonderful creation has a clean lemon fragrance from lemon essential oil. The lemon oil also adds some cleaning properties to the soap. The formula is gentle on the hands because she uses emollient vegetable oils. Its bubbly lather is like a luxurious bath soap. The scrubbers are ground walnut shells. A little pressure applied with the edge of the soap will scrub away at those rough areas on the hands and clean out the grime imbedded in there. Some have said they use this soap on the though skin that builds up on their feet. Don't get me wrong, this is not sandpaper soap. It is gentle but can scrub.
Willow Brook Acres is offering Linda's Gardener's Soap for just $4.00 per bar with no additional shipping charges on the first 4 bars of soap if sent with your daylily order.
ATTENTION Master Gardener Associations, Garden clubs and garden related societies, receive a reduced bulk rate price per bar for your fundraisers.
